Swizzles Cocktail Recipe: Updated 1930 Savoy Cocktail with Gin, Lime & Blueberries

Updated version of a recipe presented in 1930 among the canonical Savoy cocktails. Double gin is amplified with lime and Angostura, slightly embellished with sugar and blueberries. The taste has bright pine notes complemented by citrus freshness and a berry aroma.

angostura bitters

ice crush

Method
  1. Add all the ingredients to a glass and fill 2/3 of the glass with crushed ice. Stir with a spoon.
  2. Add more ice and gently stir some more.
  3. Garnish with an ice crown, blueberries, and a drop of bitters.
