How to make a Gin Basil Smash cocktail

basil sprig for decoration

Method
  1. Squeeze fresh lemon juice using a squeezer.
  2. Place the basil in the shaker and muddle the greens.
  3. Add lemon juice, sugar syrup, a few ice cubes, and gin to the shaker.
  4. Shake all the ingredients.
  5. Fill the serving glass with ice cubes.
  6. Pour the prepared drink into the serving glass through a strainer.
  7. Garnish the cocktail with a basil sprig.
