Joy Division Cocktail Recipe | Contemporary Dry Gin & Absinthe Mix

This exquisite cocktail was invented in 2008 and is part of the contemporary bar school. The double gin and dry vermouth mix perfectly, while hints of citrus and aromatic herbs are introduced with the addition of Triple Sec and absinthe. The delicate sweetness and considerable dryness are balanced with a multifaceted aftertaste that leaves a lasting impression. It’s a sophisticated and worthy alternative to a classic dry martini.

orange zest

Method
  1. Add all the ingredients and ice to the shaker. Stir with a spoon.
  2. Pour the cocktail into a glass using a strainer.
  3. Garnish with orange zest.
